1. Here are our ground rules:
- We expect everyone to be positive and supportive of each other. No bitching, gaslighting, or negativity (note: this is different to constructive feedback).
- We ask “What’s wrong with this?”: we get better by trying things, failing, asking what's wrong, and doing better next time.
- We’re here to be ourselves. Social media and content creators get a bad wrap for faking it, or just chasing vanity metrics. We're not here to play the game that way.
- Technology (laptops, phones) will be turned off when not required for content creation.
2. We hope to publish some of your content to our real social media channels in order to get real-life audience feedback. However, (even though it's kinda the point of the program), you are not obliged to publish.
3. Any content you create is your "intellectual property" i.e. you own it. However, if we do publish it, you're granting us a license to do so.
4. We're operating this program on a child-safe basis. That means no student under 18 should be with an adult involved in the program without another student present or, preferably, a second adult.
5. If there is anything you think we need to know that impacts your ability to participate in the program, it's our expectation that you'll discretely tell us about it. Likewise, if there is some element of the program (like when we're creating content) that you're not comfortable with, we expect that you'll raise it with us.
